"Have a lot of time on my hands." It was the truth. When they weren't all staunchly in survival mode and he wasn't trying to recover from whatever he'd been through mentally or physically, there was an astounding amount of hours in the day he had on his hands. One could only sleep so much, so he preferred to keep busy.
He still wasn't sure what to make of Lestat. On the one hand, there was no denying the man was charming. On the other, Rorschach had all the social skills of a mangy alley cat and had no idea why someone like Lestat who seemed to have it all would deign to decide he was the best company he could find in town. Rorschach was self-aware enough to know for a fact he was not.
Then he heard the voice again and looked around him. There was no one else on the streets which meant it had to be coming from the person there on the ground below him. Was this what people had been talking about when they said they could hear him thinking? Only one way to find out. He summoned up a thought of his own and projected it outwards to see if Lestat would be able to catch it. "Are you talking to me?"
