His good humor suddenly evaporated at the mention of God sending little girls into Hell. After seeing what he had in the Blair Roche case, he had no doubt about the cruelty of God or whoever was up there running the show. He'd seen Hell on Earth when he'd been in that shack and knew sometimes the absolute worst could happen to innocents.
