"I never thought of it much that way. Isolation.....it's a way to keep from getting hurt sometimes." Rorschach was someone who felt things far more deeply than he'd like and not forming connections helped to keep his heart from breaking over and over again as it would have been warranted to do otherwise. He paused for moment. "Not that I expect you to understand that much. You seem like you'd rather perish than be left alone for any true length of time." It was interesting how the two of them, with their complete opposite personalities, could get along so well.

"Great. I'll just find all the Communists in town and spend my time around them," Rorschach said with a dry sort of humor. There was only a few people Rorschach truly did not get along with in town but maybe Lestat had a point there. If he could learn to control his thoughts around those he despised, perhaps it would be easier to do with those that he actually could get along with.
