There was a part of Rorschach that felt more gratified than he thought he would have at finding someone who understood so well what he wasn't able to put into words. But Lestat got it in a way he knew other people wouldn't. They would be horrified at such cold, brutal tactics being used to solve the problems here. Rorschach knew they were fools.

"Many others here do not. They're too soft, either from being naïve or too kind-hearted. When someone needs to be punished here, there will be no time for the actions of civilized men. We are in a brutal place and so swift recourse is the only way to solve problems. Someone who hurts others or is evil can't be allowed to live, not when there are so few of us. For the good of the group, they need to be killed." He'd do what was necessary regardless of what other people thought. And if it was him they eventually came for, he'd deal with that problem when it came up.
