Lestat meets Rorschach's inkblots as if he's meeting his eyes, not attempting to peer through as much as he peers in. He's only skimmed the surface of Rorschach's mind, a pale imitation of his true gift, but he feels a far greater attunement to this strange man than he did before he followed his song to this rooftop.
