Chloe hasn't actually felt the physical pain yet (well, aside from a few minor slips that even her new power couldn't fully prevent anyway) - it's the weeping in the air and the feelings it causes in her that are the problem.

She crouches, then swings herself over the edge of the roof to drop to the ground, dusting her hands off on her jeans.
