There are a million questions circulating through his mind right now — just how many people in this place routinely feed on raw animals out in the woods?

So Konstantin tries to stay normal, as much as he possibly can with the strained way he keeps his breathing, readying himself to flinch back if he catches even a whiff of the copper tang of blood.

"Ahhh, yes, he's been taking good care of me. Keeping me going while I get better." A little smile, but there's an odd pang in the center of his chest as the mention of Vasiliy, and he can't quite hide the soft ache that touches his eyes for a moment.
