Hickey hisses in pain as he feels the slice open up his cheek. He knows he's bleeding but he doesn't care. This man who knows nothing about him, who's belittled and dismissed him from day one, at this point all Hickey wants to do is see Crozier bleed.

When Crozier falls to the ground, Hickey scowls, looking down at him with disgust, before he flings his foot out to try and kick Crozier in the ribs a few good times. That's what matters the most. He's not going to let the captain judge him any more.
