Hickey aims another kick at Crozier's ribs. He wants to keep that man on the ground. He wants to make him hurt. Incapacitate him enough and he won't try anything. Keep him knocked down and beat up enough and what can he do? Nothing.

Crozier's grabbed at his leg. He can feel the man's fingers tearing and grabbing at his still bleeding leg. And for the first time, Hickey realizes that he probably should care? After all, his leg really hurts. But Hickey's got two legs. And as Crozier grabs at one, he aims another kick with his free leg.

"This'll shut you up," he glares, looking down at the man. "Keep you from talking about things you know nothing about."
