Chloe’s used to fighting men who are bigger than her, and she’d caught this one by surprise. It might not be clean or graceful (luckily Nadine isn't here to judge) but she can get it done.

Once Billy manages to scramble back a bit, Chloe grabs the fist of the arm around the assailant’s neck in her free hand and kicks her legs to roll them away from him. The guy gets some good hits in, including a stunning elbow to the temple, but Chloe keeps a dogged hold and soon he succumbs to the pressure on the carotid artery and falls unconscious.

She scrambles out from under the dead weight, and staggers a bit on her way over to check on Billy. God, she’s dizzy.

“Are you okay? What the hell happened?”
