Chloe shrugs. “Nothing too exciting. I've been on my own for a long time.”
Her father is dead and her mother had chosen family approval over Chloe a long time ago.
“We sort of had a blood feud with this guy for a while but he's dead now so it's all good.”
She had killed him right before coming here, so it being all good or not is a bit questionable. She hasn't exactly had the chance to process it.
