Thank god that he can still change back. Billy doesn't even mind that the other is sitting on the ground naked right now - what's more important is that at least this ability does not seem to have permanently changed anything about the other man.

.. well, nothing that wasn't already there, given that he's heard Hickey say things like this before. Isn't it very similar to when they initially discussed the abilities they gained here all those months ago? At least Billy could understand why one may claim enhanced stamina as being more, but.. putting turning into a wolf in that same category? Really?

"More capable of shedding fur all over our house, you mean."

Those are the first words he's capable of getting out of his mouth, practically sighing them more than he's actually saying them. Because that is an easy initial thought to process, and everything else feels so much more complicated. There's about thirty different worries entering his mind right in this moment, and Billy raises a hand to rub his forehead to try and avoid an oncoming headache.

It's only after a moment that he also surrenders, a little more kindly: ".. I am glad you are still yourself."
