"I do not think there is much to gain from it for the Forest Talkers, but I do not want to underestimate them." She's in agreement about her taking the journal. At least then it would be in someone's hands and cannot make it to the Forest Talkers. Who knows what they might glean from it, if anything. It was useful to some extent, giving them a better picture of their strange world, but how much could they really get from it?
