Ruby doesn't quite have it in her to respond with words. She does however try to prepare herself to make it out of the water. Once her legs reach high enough she'll pull them inward and try plant them on the edge of the ice that hasn't shattered to kick herself up. It's fumbling and her legs feel way heavier and numb than normal, but she manages to breach the ice and water and land on solid ground again.

So that's something. Don't mind her as she huddles up in a chilly and freezing heap.
