The frankness was good and it told Raylan a lot. People who were untested or not accustomed to the violence and ugliness of the world being front and center in their existence might look horrified or taken aback by how readily Raylan subscribes to the idea. Here in Milton, he felt it was better that more of them were comfortable with it. since it was on their doorstep.

"There's some. Larger game tends to be parasite infected though, for what that's worth. But yeah, shouldn't take me but a minute to finish up what I'm doin'."

Raylan wasn't a man who wasted time to begin with so Eren didn't have to wait long to have the tall, long legged cowboy next to him as they move through the streets of Milton.

"Not a soldier, no. Never been in the military, but I know there's a few here who have. I'm a US Deputy Marshal. Which, I'm guessin', might not mean much?" He glances over for an indication either way and if he gets one that's more no than yes, he'll continue.

"The Marshal's Office is responsible for running down and capturin' escaped convicts or transporting them, going after folks that are crossin' state or country borders. or goin' after cartels, gangs, whatever the government needs us to handle. I've been doin' it twenty years." He looks over again.

"So you're a soldier, huh?"
