There had been repairs, Raju remembers well enough coming here to help work on them. It'd been a relief, having something that mattered enough to do, and someone who mattered enough to do it with. But what exactly led Francis to stay here instead of finding another cabin that wouldn't need so much work, that he doesn't know, though the idea of not going back to an iglu for the sake of a good fire sounds believable enough; Francis isn't so unused to the cold as Raju, but it must have been a reminder of what he'd been missing. So this time Raju only waits for Francis to answer, glancing at him as he moves to the side of the stove to tip the crushed dandelion roots into the smaller pot.
