The creature speaks.

Tom smiles wider, clearly pleased, and the hand in the air drops and fits nicely on his hip, chuckling.

"Sure do! You scared me, man. For a second I thought you were the Darkwalker."

He certainly looks like it, and now that he's closer Tom cants his head to the side, squinting as he openly looks. More goat than wolf, but enough for Zane to be simultaneously intrigued and wary. It's a novel feeling here. He embraces it whole-heartedly.

"Aren't you interesting?"
