[ Most likely human then. Probably. Vash isn't about to pry any further, simply throwing out a comment about the choice of... occupation? Can it be called that? ]
That's pretty cool, like those old Earth stories about heroes.
[ At least he hopes it's meant in that way — someone who does good where the law and its institutions might fail or not be there in time. Maybe the kind of righteous outlaw from the old western stories that his brother loved as a kid. It's not something Vash has ever considered himself to be anything like, but as someone who wants to help and leaps in whenever the opportunity presents itself to do so no matter the danger, it's something he can understand.
As for the question about his wings, Vash can only raise his shoulders in an exaggerated shrug, wings and feathers rustling with the motion. ]
Who knows, plants were just made that way. I guess to look like angels, maybe?
[ For all that he's the product of plants, he doesn't know where his heritage started, only that their origins were man-made. Humans like their biblical references and given that plants were made to aid humanity, that's the best guess he's got. It's not as if his sisters could ever stretch their wings and take flight either, trapped and stuck in their bulbs as they were. ]

[Rorschach shifted a little when Vash mentioned heroes, moving his weight from one leg to another. That was what he attempted to be. A superhero. Though sometimes he though somewhere along that path he'd lost his way and had drifted into a place more murky and shadowy. Still, he would not compromise. If he did that, Rorschach knew he'd truly be lost.]
Biblical angel maybe. Beautiful and terrifying and terrible at the same time.
[There was a reason that in the Bible angels had to reassure people not to be afraid of them when they came to talk to people on God's behalf. The line between a Biblical angel and an eldritch horror was a thin one.]
