Sorry— [ He's dizzy, exhausted. The world's spinning a little too hard. ] I just... I just need a minute. I'm just— dizzy.

So he sighs heavily, and realizes he has to figure out how to get this kid back to civilization. While still sore and injured himself - he's begun to heal, but it will be a while before the injury fades into nothing more than a gnarly scar. ]
Come with me.
[ Not exactly words you want to hear from Lalo Salamanca, of all people, but right now, they might be in Kieren's best interests.
Lalo is a strong man, and lifting someone isn't usually difficult for him, but using his non-dominant arm, it's more of a struggle. He reaches out anyway, though, to try to wrap Keiren's arm around his shoulders, to practically drag the kid back into town. ]

So to be pulled back onto his feet surprises him, even through the tired dizziness. There's not much to him: willowy, barely even weight to him despite his height. But Kieren tries to help, tries to get his legs to work as he's lifted — knees shaking as he jams his feet in the snow, and even the effort of that feels like too much. ]
Sorry. [ He mumbles. Is he ill? The dead don't get ill. He exhales hard, his head shaking. ] Jesus, I don't know what the fuck's wrong with me.
[ But he's up on two feet again, at least. ]

water bottleperson. If he weren't still healing, lifting Keiren and carrying Keiren would be easy, but right now, with limited use of his good arm, they're forced to just stumble over to Lalo's cabin together. Once they're inside, Lalo dumps Keiren unceremoniously on the couch. He goes to the fire, and after a moment of hesitation, he makes a gesture with his hand. When nothing happens, he tries again - a different gesture. To his surprise and pleasure, a fire lights up in the hearth. He looks at the half-dead boy behind him with a bright, triumphant grin. ]
Whoa! Check that out! [ Lalo grins at Keiren. ] Sit tight. There's a rabbit in one of the traps. And I found some coffee! You like coffee? [ That's going to have to suffice for food... on account of some bitch stole whatever he'd managed to stockpile before. He might be on the road to forgiving her, though, after the night at Louis's store opening. ]
