Like I already said, he was dead when I found him.

( Some people just don't listen, do they? Besides, he'd only killed Alan Lawrence, and that man was not worthy enough to be used in any other way. Scratch had left his body to the scavengers in the woods. )

People are killing and being killed all over the place. It's not hard to find a body left behind right now.

( Honestly, Scratch isn't sure how many people, but he knows he's killed someone and he knows Louis's killed someone, so that's multiple people which makes his statement true. )

I found a body in the woods with it's throat fucked up, and it didn't look like any animal did that.

Wouldn't surprise me. [Blunt and to the point; Raylan was oddly blasé about about the violence - he wasn't grossed or weirded out by the body or very much by Scratch's former sawing, though he was properly disgusted and unsettled by the whole show without a doubt.]
