[ Lalo shrugs. His delivery is smooth and nonchalant enough, but his ears are turning what is likely a now-familiar shade of pink to Chloe. ]

[ The giggles makes his ears turn redder...but Lalo can't help himself. It's too cute. It makes something inside of his chest get all warm. He can't help it. His face stretches into a grin without him realizing it. ]

[ He's definitely grinning like an idiot. ]

[This conversation would have had Chloe a lot more skittish back in May, but they're cool now. He's not trying to tie her down, which means she can play a little.]
