I suppose it depends. My people typically do not perform burials unless we are meaning to create draugr. Hopefully that is not what they mean, considering how many are buried here at the god’s house.

Draugr — [ He's quite knowledgeable as a result of his travels, the many worlds and times he's visited. Even without his own capabilities with various languages, of course this world itself has the handy trick of interpreting for them. Still, he likes to be sure. ]

Yes. We burn our own dead, to allow them to leave their bodies, but I understand many people do not do this.

If they are simply telling us we will die, I think we already know this. Our people have been dying without their intervention for some time.
